Ohh! short for ‘Oils of Heaven’ is a company that have seven different facial oils ranging from avocado to something completely different like cacay (I may need to research exactly what this is…) but for now today’s review will be about their Moringa oil.
Oil is great for almost everyone (remember oil dissolves oil too) and I find that often especially in the winter months I really have to incorporate one into my skin care routine. Moringa is a non-fragrant plant oil that contains several antioxidants, that are ideal for preventing free radicals and other skin damaging agents and vitamins such as A & C.
Weirdly although I normally use one in the winter, when I went away to Thailand I brought this product to use in the evening, so if the sun had dried/damaged my skin a little in the day I was hoping this would add some nourishment back in. I found it was such a great addition and really helped my skin – I honestly will try my hardest to keep m face out of the sun but sometimes its pretty hard!
I did use this with a moisturiser and other skin care items but I would always recommend never substituting your cream for just an oil as they do slightly different things – we all know how complicated this organ is. Again as I mentioned earlier I only used this product at night as I often find oils slightly too heavy for day time wear.
Another tip would always be, if you really hate the oily feel on your skin but would like to use one, pop a drop or two into your moisturiser (once you have pumped it into you hand and then mix together). However, if your skin is super dry you may wish to use it twice and should start to notice a difference.
I noticed the scent was super mild, if anything and yes it does have a very oily feel to it but you could always just use slightly less and fully spread it around. At £18.99 for 30ml, its nor a crazy price and as they always go a really long way it should last you quite a while.
Ultimately I would buy this product again if I saw it and in fact I did a second time (it was on a great offer in a store by me). Also I seem to find it quite a lot online for cheaper than the normal price tag.
